Cupping Therapy: A Spot-On Soft Tissue Manipulation Technique (I, II, IV, V)
Tuesday, June 24, 2025 | 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Participants will begin with an online review of fundamental concepts, including current evidence supporting the use of cupping therapy, essential safety guidelines, and foundational techniques. This online component prepares participants for the advanced, hands-on training offered during the in-person portion of the course. The in-person segment focuses on skill development, emphasizing the proficient use of cupping instruments and techniques to mobilize soft tissue in the extremities. Through guided practice and expert instruction, participants will gain the ability to identify clinical scenarios where cupping therapy is appropriate, apply cupping techniques effectively, and select application strategies that integrate cupping with movement patterns to optimize patient outcomes.
This session is ideal for clinicians seeking to enhance their therapeutic repertoire with evidence-based cupping practices and advanced manual therapy techniques.
At the end of the Advanced Track, participants will be able to:
- Explain the indications and contraindications of using Cupping Therapy on patients.
- Identify the need for using Cupping using current evidence.
- Apply safe cupping techniques.
- Select appropriate application strategies that integrate cupping techniques and movement patterns.
