First Aid/CPR Instructor Training
To allow time for this pre-event work to be completed, registration will close on May 31, 2026.
Instructors are certified through the American Red Cross.
Completion of this course certifies attendees to teach CPR, AED, first aid, and lay responder training.
Attendees will have the opportunity to bridge their instructor certification into other American Red Cross courses (e.g., CPR for the Professional Rescuer, Basic Life Support, etc.) upon completion.
Recertification of Basic Adult First Aid/CPR AED will be conducted at the beginning of the course as well as Basic Life Support. We are including this at no additional cost to the attendee.
A mandatory online course (approximately three to four hours) must be completed prior to the in-person workshop. The instructor will provide the links to the online courses to registrants.
Registrants will need to bring their certificates of completion with them to show the instructor.

Upon completion of the course, attendees will be certified as:
1. Basic Life Support/Professional Rescuer for ECC
2. Basic CPR/AED and First Aid
3. Instructor for Basic CPR/AED and First Aid
Note: The Basic Life Support/CPR for the Professional Rescuer course meets BOC Emergency Cardiac Care (ECC) requirements.
