Is there a dress code for NATA 2020?
Yes. We strongly encourage participants to dress in a manner befitting professionals while attending educational events and the AT Expo. Business casual – shirts, slacks, skirts or blouses (no jeans or shorts) is the recommended attire.
Volunteers should wear business casual attire (khakis, slacks, golf shirts, blouses or sweaters). No jeans or shorts.
Learning Lab participants should wear lab attire (something comfortable you can move freely in) for the Learning Lab and return to business casual afterwards.
How can attendees be safe at NATA 2020?
As with any destination, we recommend that conference attendees practice common sense and do not wander into deserted, non-tourist areas of the city. Wear your name badge at all times while in the convention center or key hotels.

What’s the registration process for NATA 2020 and how much does it cost?

Can attendees bring a guest or children?
Short answer: Yes
Although there is no charge for guests and children, they must be registered to attend. A Child Release Form must be completed during the registration process for children 17 and under. Access to the AT Expo requires age verification.

Can attendees register onsite for NATA 2020?
Yes. You can register onsite at any of the Express Registration counters.
When will attendees receive their badge?
Badges and other registration materials can be picked up onsite during the following registration hours:

Is shuttle service available to/from hotels and the GWCC?

Do hotels offer self-parking?
Most hotels in downtown Atlanta offer valet parking only at a cost ranging from $45-$50/day. Check directly with your hotel for other parking options near your hotel.
First Time Attendees
What should first-time attendees know?
If you’re a new member to NATA (two years or less) or this is your first convention, connect with your peers at the First-Time Attendee/New Member Reception. Registration required.
Newbies are also encouraged to stop by the Ribbon Bar and pick up the First Time Attendee ribbon.
What educational sessions are students eligible to attend?
Non-certified students are eligible to attend the Athletic Training Student Seminar (ATSS), Lectures, Free Communications and Forums.
Outside of educational programming, students are encouraged to attend the Welcome Reception, Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, General Session and NATA Keynote.
When can students attend the AT Expo?
Certified Athletic Training students are eligible to attend all days of the AT Expo. Non-certified students are eligible to attend Friday, June 19 and Saturday, June 20 of the AT Expo.
